Reciclagem musical XX

Esta 20ª reciclagem é a mais recente até agora. No seguimento da 11ª e 15ª reciclagens musicais, e igualmente no seguimento da carreira dos britânicos Keane, escolhi uma canção do seu terceiro Álbum Perfect Symmetry, editado a 13 de Outubro de 2008, chamada igualmente Perfect Symmetry (tendo dado nome ao álbum por ser a favorita da banda).

Se pararmos para pensarmos um pouco no estado do mundo à nossa volta, facilmente constatamos a pertinência destas observações. Todos os dias no chegam noticias de vários focos de conflito no mundo, guerras que se prolongam no tempo durante anos ou mesmo décadas em ofensivas e contra-ofensivas sucessivas, das quais ninguém parece sair vencedor, mas cujos vencidos são muitos óbvios: todos aqueles que apenas estavam no local errado à hora errada são todos os dias vítimas destas escaladas de violência que assolam o mundo em que vivemos e que marcam a ferro e fogo tantos lugares em espirais de ódio e violência que se auto-alimentam. Não seremos nós, o mais sensato dos animais, capazes de algo melhor do que esta lógica destrutiva e irracional de olho por olho e dente por dente? A História recente e não se mostra animadora e as perspectivas para o futuro não são melhores. E para tal muito contribui a problemática do fanatismo religioso que se encontra tantas vezes associado a estes conflitos, levando as pessoas a cometer as maiores atrocidades em nome de alguma entidade divina tantas vezes à custa de vidas inocentes.
